General Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Courses at Ebonyi State University 2025
- Applicants applying for aĀ Masterās Degree ProgramĀ must possess a Bachelorās degree in the relevant field of study from a recognized university (usually a minimum of a 2nd Class Lower or its equivalent).Ā Some programs may require relevant work experience or additional qualifications.
- For theĀ Postgraduate Diploma Program (PGD), candidates must have a first degree in a related field (not necessarily a first-class degree, any lower degree is acceptable) or those who wish to change their field of study which will lead to a masterās degree. Work experience in a related field might be required for some PGD courses. Candidate shall not have a CGPA below 2 on a 5-point grade scale.
- For the Doctoral Degree Program (Ph.D), applicants must have a masterās degree in the relevant field of study with at least a good second-class honors(3.50 on 5 points grade) or its equivalent. Must conduct a research proposal in the intended study area, and submit your academic transcript from your previous university.
