The cut-off mark for admission into the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA) for the 2025/2026 academic session ranges from 150 to 220, depending on the course. All candidates must meet the specific cut-off mark for their chosen course to be considered for admission.

- MBBS and BDS Dentistry – 220 and above
- Nursing Sciences, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Radiography, BMLS, Audiology – 200 and above
- Nutrition and Dietetics, IT & Health Informatics, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Health Information Management, Public Health, Pharmacology – 160 and above
- Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology – 150 and above
FUHSA Admission Requirements
All candidates must ensure that they meet these requirements for admission. Candidates who are not qualified will not be admitted.
UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates applying for undergraduate programs at FUHSA through UTME must meet the following requirements:-
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
- Candidates meet the cut-off mark set by the university for the chosen course (Check the table above for details)
- Candidates must have the required UTME subject combination for their chosen course as specified by JAMB.
- Candidates must participate in the university’s post-UTME screening exercise and perform well to be considered for admission.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking Direct Entry (DE) admission into FUHSA must meet the following requirements:-
- Candidates must have at least A-Level passes in relevant subjects or an equivalent qualification such as OND, HND, NCE, or JUPEB with good grades.
- Candidates must also meet the five (5) credit pass requirement in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Candidates must apply through JAMB Direct Entry and choose the Federal University of Health Sciences Azare as their preferred institution.
- Direct Entry candidates may be required to participate in a screening exercise before final admission.
