• Candidates should visit the EBSU Admission Status Portal.
• Select the academic session that you are offered admission i.e 2025/2026
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Click on ”Proceed” to check your admission status.

How to Check the Ebonyi State University Admission on JAMB CAPS

To check the EBSU admission list on JAMB portal, follow the steps below.

• Candidates should go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ .
• Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
• Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
• Click on Admission Status, You should then click on Check Admission Status or Click on Access my CAPS.
• Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for a better view)
• Click on admission status You will either see Admission in progress check back later, NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.

Note: Congratulations! means that you can now decide whether to accept or reject your admission and wait for further guidance. Admission in Progress If you see that an admission is in progress, don’t worry; it will be changed in a few days or weeks. Just make sure to come back later. Not Admitted If you get this message, keep going, be poised, and come back later to see if anything has changed.

How to Pay Ebonyi State University Acceptance Fee

Candidates who have been offered admission are expected to proceed with the acceptance fee payment. Newly admitted candidates should follow the steps provided to pay the Ebonyi State University acceptance fee.

• Newly admitted students should visit the Ebonyi State University official portal at: www.ebsu.edu.ng/app .
• Choose the payment type i.e. Acceptance Fee
• pay your acceptance fee. The price is 30,000 (thirty-thousand naira only) and it is non-refundable.
• print out the receipt of the payment for further reference.
