Adeyemi Federal University of Education Admission Requirements

Aspiring students who wish to apply to Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) for the 2025/2026 academic session must meet specific requirements depending on their mode of entry, either through UTME or Direct Entry. Below are the detailed admission requirements for both categories:-

UTME

  • Candidates must meet the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen course, which is typically determined by JAMB each year. It’s important to confirm this score before proceeding with the application.
  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at O’level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB). The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics, and the other subjects must be in line with the candidate’s intended course of study. This can be obtained in one or two sittings.
  • Candidates must choose the correct subject combination that matches their chosen course, as specified by JAMB and Adeyemi University.
  • Candidates who meet the UTME requirements will be required to participate in a Post-UTME screening, which may include an oral or written test.
  • Candidates must meet the university’s age criteria for admission. Usually, a candidate should be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

Direct Entry (DE)

  • Candidates must have advanced-level qualifications such as A-levels, OND (Ordinary National Diploma), NCE (National Certificate in Education), or a Higher National Diploma (HND).
  • Similar to UTME candidates, Direct Entry candidates must also meet the O’level requirement, with at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Candidates must register for Direct Entry through JAMB, and Adeyemi University should be selected as a choice of institution.
