We’re looking for a tech-savvy, adaptable professional who can be our primary IT support and also contribute to development when needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Remote Developer & IT Support Specialist at Makara Social Hub

IT Support (Primary Function):

• Serve as the primary technical support for the entire team. ‌
• Provide first and second-line technical support to the team and early adopters. ‌
• Troubleshoot platform, hosting, and software issues quickly and effectively. ‌
• Set up, configure, and maintain systems, tools, and accounts. ‌
• Maintain data security and system integrity.

Developer Tasks (Occasional):

• Take full ownership of building and maintaining the Makara Social Hub platform and SMM panel features. ‌
• Lead and handle all integration work independently. ‌
• Fix bugs, implement new features, and develop platform improvements. ‌
• Test and deploy updates, ensuring platform stability and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support or technical support role. ‌
• Basic/intermediate skills in web development (PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS). ‌
• Understanding of APIs, MySQL, and server hosting. ‌
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently. ‌
• Excellent communication skills in English. ‌
• Eager to grow with a startup from the early stages.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SMM panels or social media management tools. ‌
• Linux server management skills. ‌
• UI/UX awareness for user-facing improvements.
