Job Summary of the Bank Teller at Tribest Limited
- The Bank Teller is the primary point of contact for customers visiting the bank.
- This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and promoting the bankβs products and services.
- The ideal candidate will be a professional, customer-focused individual with strong numerical skills and a high level of integrity.
Key Responsibilities of the Bank Teller at Tribest Limited
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide a high standard of service. Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cash advances, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Transaction Processing: Handle daily financial activities such as checking account balances, processing loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Product Promotion: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or refer bank products and services to customers.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and security regulations to prevent fraud and protect customer information.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- NCE / OND / HND or its equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration).
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a high volume of transactions.
- Proficiency in using banking software and other relevant office tools.
