- Pharmacist
- Consultant Anaesthesiologist
Pharmacist
As a Pharmacist at NLNG, you will play a critical role in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, including dispensing prescriptions, advising on drug usage, and ensuring proper storage of medications. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary medical team to promote safe and effective medication use in support of the company’s health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and advise on proper dosage and usage.
- Provide information about potential side effects, drug interactions, and general medication guidance.
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory of pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Monitor patients’ responses to prescribed medications.
- Oversee storage, handling, and security of pharmaceutical stock.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 3–5 years post-NYSC experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with drug regulatory policies and procedures.
Consultant Anaesthesiologist
The Consultant Anaesthesiologist will provide expert anaesthetic services for surgical and non-surgical procedures. The role includes evaluating patients, administering anaesthesia, monitoring vital signs during procedures, and supporting recovery. The ideal candidate must demonstrate clinical excellence and leadership in medical care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to determine appropriate anaesthetic plans.
- Administer regional, general, or local anaesthesia safely.
- Monitor patients’ physiological responses during procedures.
- Provide post-operative pain management and follow-up.
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Ensure adherence to international best practices in anaesthesia.
Qualifications:
- MBBS (or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification (Fellowship in Anaesthesiology).
- Valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- At least 5–7 years post-fellowship experience in clinical anaesthesia.
- Strong decision-making and patient-care skills.
- Proven ability to work in high-pressure medical environments.
