Role Overview
The Design & Visualisation Officer will be responsible for developing visually compelling and impactful materials that communicate 3iSβs data, training content, and project results to stakeholders and donors.
The officer will play a key role in ensuring clarity, engagement, and branding consistency across all communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Material Design
- Develop engaging training content (infographics, presentations, handouts) aligned with project branding.
- Design workshop visuals (banners, signage, participant kits) for in-person and virtual sessions.
2. Data Visualization & Mapping
- Create dashboards, maps, and infographics to communicate IM data (e.g., coverage analysis, gap assessments).
- Collaborate with the Capacity Building (CB) team to ensure accuracy and clarity.
3. Communication & Reporting
- Design impactful presentations for stakeholders.
- Produce visually appealing reports, incorporating charts, graphics, and photography.
- Develop factsheets and infographics to summarize survey findings and lessons learned.
4. Centralized Information Hub Support
- Contribute to the visual design and layout of the Centralized Information Hub platform.
5. Branding & Consistency
- Ensure all outputs strictly follow 3iS and donor branding guidelines (e.g., ECHO).
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Masterβs degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience designing for humanitarian and/or development projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Basic GIS skills (ArcGIS, QGIS) for map design are desirable.
Soft Skills
- Creativity with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear and engaging visuals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
